The LDNA is Fighting Graffiti

The LDNA is fighting graffiti in the Leather District. We have reached out to District Attorney Dan Conley and told him that this property crime is serious and we have pledged our support to him in prosecutions. In addition, we have put together a team to document graffiti in the LD with a view to getting graffiti busters here in the spring to eradicate it. LDNA Board members Kim Gutowski and Sylvia Blumenthal, the self-styled graffiti girls, are leading the charge. In addition, to documenting buildings in the LD, Kim and Sylvia have also reached out to the US Postal Service about the mail boxes which, unfortunately, act as a graffiti magnet. We will have a report on this effort at our meeting on this Wed, 2/18 @ 7 pm.
