LD Walking Tour

BIG EVENT -- THIS THURSDAY NIGHT 10/30 @ 7 pm -- Meeting/Starting Place -100 South Street #2

WHAT MAKES THE LEATHER DISTRICT THE LEATHER DISTRICT? A WALKING TOUR OF THE LEATHER DISTRICT …. AND WINE-TASTING…

This Thursday night -- A walking tour of the Leather District to examine its significant architecture and history. Included on this tour will be commentary by Dave Seeley (long-time LD resident and an architect); Roger Berman (whose family was in the Leather District in the leather business and who still has a LD presence to this day); Larry Rosenblum (LD pioneer/resident) and Sarah Kelly (Executive Director of the Boston Preservation Alliance). The tour will begin and end at the residence of LD resident (and cool neon collector) Bill Baughman @ 100 South Street #2. The fun evening will end with a FREE wine-tasting sponsored by LD member Carmen Patti.

Please bring a flashlight if you have one!
