WHY: BCNC’s annual Oak Street Fair is Chinatown’s big community block party for families in the Greater Boston area. Featuring activity stations for children, teens, and their families, Oak Street Fair celebrates community and brings individuals together from Chinatown and beyond. The event also allows the opportunity for resource-sharing by a range of community organizations and businesses, and serves the dual purpose of providing health information and screening opportunities for families. This year’s 23 rd annual Oak Street Fair anticipates 1,000 individuals, and is a draw for visitors from neighborhood communities and beyond to Boston’s Chinatown.
